Pork, pork everywhere there is pork

I have heard several people complaining about the I-35W bridge collapse in Minnesota. Some are saying the government needs to come up with more money to prevent further tragedies of this nature. I have an idea where to find this money. How about here, or here.

I am always outraged when federal money is used for frivolous local expenses. I believe that the American taxpayers should not be forced to foot the bill for wasteful projects that benefit very few people. Robert Byrd (D -W.V.) comes to mind as one of the worst offenders in terms of taking pork.
