Fred hires Reagan's 1984 National Political Director

Bill Lacy has joined the campaign of Fred Thompson:

Back in February, I spoke at the Dole Institute out at the University of Kansas. The Director is Bill Lacy. If that name sounds familiar, it's because Lacy was Ronald Reagan's national political director in the 1984 campaign and served as the head of Reagan's political shop in the White House for a number of years.

...

Today, the Dole Institute announced he's taking a leave of absence to join the Fred pseudo-campaign non-campaign. Lacy is a great strategist who, in his time at the Dole Institute, has really sought to understand the blending of Reagan era political campaigns with online grassroots.

You will see a lot more people sign on as September approaches.

Win, Fred, Win
