Wamp and Cantor calls for a reprimand of Ellison

As you all know Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress compared President Bush to Adolf Hitler and leaving the impression the administration may have rigged the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

Today Congressmen Wamp and Cantor called for a reprimand:

On recycled paper, the Congressman today wrote in a letter to Speaker Pelosi [pdf], calling for this reprimand:

Even if Representative Ellison now asserts that he was not implying that 9/11 was orchestrated by the administration, the comparison he draws between Hitler and the President of the United States is disgraceful. It is intolerable that a member of the United States Congress would choose to exploit the worst attack on American soil as a means of political rhetoric.

The only problem is, she agrees with Ellison. I would not look for this to be followed through with, even though it should be.
