Israel preparing for war.

Israel is getting ready:

Israel is preparing for an imminent war with Iran, Syria and/or their non-state clients.

Israeli military intelligence has projected that a major attack could come from any of five adversaries in the Middle East. Officials said such a strike could spark a war as early as July 2007.

On Sunday, Israeli military intelligence chief Maj. Gen. Amos Yadlin told the Cabinet that the Jewish state faces five adversaries in what could result in an imminent confrontation. Yadlin cited Iran, Syria, Hizbullah, Hamas and Al Qaida.

With the fact that Iran has called for Israel's destruction, I think they should have been preparing for a long time.

I wonder who will side with Israel? The UN, not likely:

The U.N.’s main body focusing on human rights – the Human Rights Council - has just wrapped up its first year of existence with endless bouts of Israel-bashing. Kofi Annan had pitched this dysfunctional organization last year as “a great new chance for the United Nations, and for humanity, to renew the struggle for human rights.” To his credit, his successor as Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, voiced disappointment at the Council’s decision to single out Israel as the only specific regional item on its agenda, “given the range and scope of allegations of human rights violations throughout the world.”

We should be preparing too.

But we aren't... It wouldn't be politically correct, and we just can't have that...

I would rather be politically incorrect than dead, myself. Unfortunately a lot of people do not share these thoughts. Shame.
