Ted Nugent Is Ready To Go RINO Hunting, Join Him

Ted Nugent is as fed up with the RINOs as I am:

RINOs are Fedzilla punks who feign support for conservative principles only when it serves their political interest. RINOs are also known for their moderate positions such as supporting tax increases, federal “bailouts”, “comprehensive immigration reform”, advocating more counterproductive gun control that guarantee more innocent victims, opposing the death penalty, and growing and sustaining Fedzilla and all its toxic mongrels by going along with the liberals. RINOs have forgotten President Ronald Maximus Regan's admonition that government is the problem, not the solution.

RINOs reach across Fedzilla's aisle to cut deals and build consensus with the liberals. Consensus building means compromising values and cutting deals with the socialist prankster punksters whose goal it is to turn America into EuroAmerica.

Consensus building is for wimps and soulless people who stand for nothing. Compromise is not about being tolerant: these days, it’s about giving up conservative principles.

Ted is right on target. RINOs only weaken out party. America is a right of center nation. Even in California they could not get gay marriage past the people. RINOs can not gain the support because they do not embrace conservative values. We must weed the RINOs out.

Two More Shining Examples Of Why McCain Is A Bad Nominee

We all know about his plans for amnesty. Now his candidacy has caused the GOP to give in on two very important issues:

The first:

Republicans are putting John McCain's campaign priorities above some of their pet issues, including drilling for oil in Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and denying citizenship to the U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants.

Members of the GOP platform committee voted Wednesday to stick with an energy plank that doesn't mention drilling in the refuge, saying it would only highlight an area where they differ with the Arizona senator. McCain opposes drilling in that protected land, and some committee members said they would rather bring him around on the issue once he's in the White House than widen their disagreement now.

And the second:

The National Republican Party for the first time is expected to acknowledge global warming in its 2008 GOP Platform, according to a draft of the document.

“Increased atmospheric carbon has a warming effect on the earth,” the document said. “While the scope and long term consequences of this warming effect are the subject of ongoing research, we believe the United States should take measured and reasonable steps today.”

Remember the scores of bloggers discussing how McCain would disrupt the party? The damage has just started. There will be plenty more where this came from.

A Few Quick Questions

The questions are in response to this article:

Retired Gen. Wesley Clark, a former Democratic presidential candidate now supporting Barack Obama, said Sunday John McCain's military service does not automatically qualify him to be commander in chief.

Underscoring during a national television appearance a position he has been expressing for several weeks, Clark said performing heroic military service is not a substitute for gaining command experience.

Why would this not be more of a qualifying factor than the things Obama has done?

Can it not be said that McCain's actions prove a genuine love of this country?

Which is better, McCain serving this country or Obama attending an anti-American church for twenty years?

I am not a big McCain supporter either. As a matter of fact, a lot of the things he supports are things I completely disagree with. As of right now I will not be voting for either. I must admit though, the fact that not voting for McCain is like voting for Obama is weighing on my mind. McCain is the ultimate RINO. That makes it almost impossible for me to vote for him. Notice I said almost. Obama is the ultimate socialist. That may be enough for me to overcome that "almost impossible" thing.

I would like to leave you with this message for the RNC:

Clean up your act. As much as you admire the way the democratic base rallies around their nominees, you DO NOT share the same type of fortune. Sure there are a large number of them that will, but there is also a significant amount of us that will not. Myself, and a large number of others are disgruntled enough to live through 4 or 8 years of democratic reign in order to force the party to awaken to the fact that we are not willing to accept that the party is moving to the left at a rapid pace. I may vote for McCain. McCain has not one thing to do with this. I will tell you another thing; you are lucky the democrats nominated such a "far left" candidate. There were two democratic candidates that could have made me consider voting for McCain. Obama is definitely one of those two. You have already lost any chance of monetary support from me. You may have lost my vote as well.

The Terminator Wants To Destroy The Republican Party

It explains why, in the wake of losing a solid Republican seat in Mississippi in a special election last week, Republican leader Rep. John Boehner of Ohio sent out a memo outlining what he called a "new positive agenda" for the GOP - titled "The Change America Deserves."

The GOP's desire to change in this way has cost them control of Congress in 2006. It has cost them three seats in special elections. It will more then likely cost them the Presidency in 2008. As well as, probably give the Democrats a super-majority in both chambers of Congress.

Congratulations GOP leadership! You have "CHANGED" the party into one that can not compete. You have done everything within your power to destroy the basic fundamentals the party was built upon. Go ahead, continue to spend money like crazy. Keep throwing money and corn into the "Global Warming/ Climate Change" machine. Run right along and act like good little Democrats. Just don't be surprised when you hold only about 25% of Congress, and you are begging President Obama to show mercy upon you.

What Did Republican Leaders Expect?

The GOP lost another special election Tuesday:

The GOP loss in Mississippi’s special election Tuesday is the strongest sign yet that the Republican Party is in shambles. And while some Republicans see a light at the end of the tunnel, that light more likely represents the Democratic train that is primed to mow down more Republicans in November.

The third straight House special election loss in three conservative districts this year is a clear indication that the GOP brand is turning off voters and the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is in disarray.

Of course they are playing the "blame" game:

In the wake of the devastating loss, the first question facing House Republican leaders is whether they will keep Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.) as NRCC chairman. Speculation has been rampant that Cole would be asked to step down should Republicans lose in Mississippi, and on Tuesday that chatter intensified.

The fact is all of them have moved significantly to the left, and borrowing a term from the good Rev. Wright- The chickens are coming home to roost.

What amazes me is they seem to be surprised by the results. Did they expect to keep alienating the base and keep their support? The answer unfortunately is yes they did.

Republicans win elections when they hold to their conservative principals.

It looks like Republicans will counter the Democratic push for change from the years of the Bush administration with their own pledge to deliver, drum roll please, “the change you deserve.” The first element of the party agenda developed over the past few months by the leadership and select party members will focus on family issues.

Conservatives have spent the entire campaign season eviscerating Democrat candidates who’ve tattooed themselves with the empty “change” slogan. So what do the brain-dead strategists and p.r. market wizards of the GOP go and do?

New Line Of The GOP "Work With The Democrats"

The Senate GOP has been having its retreat. This is the first retreat since Lamar Alexander (R-TN) was named Chairman of the Conference. In this position, Alexander is charged with developing the GOP agenda and controlling the message.

Today, the Republican Senators are at a retreat and they are getting their first taste of Lamar Alexander's leadership. His message: embrace being in the minority.

As if orchestrated, other "experts" who were invited by Republican leadership gave reports downplaying the GOP's struggle with spending and pork and focusing mainly on the war in Iraq as the problem. Senators were told that what the American people want most is cooperation in Congress and to see lawmakers get things done: Read -- Pass Democrat legislation. In fact, by the time it was over, I'm told you would have thought the Appropriators themselves had arranged the presentation to completely undermine Winston's assertion that waste and earmarks had anything at all to do with the GOP loss in 2006.

Lamar Alexander's central theme of the day now is that the GOP must work with the Democrats on "bipartisan legislation" to show the American people the Senate can get things done. Whoa unto the Republican Senator who obstructs the will of the majority.

This is like a bad dream. The GOP lost control of the house because they were acting just like the democrats. They will not gain control again until they step away from that way of thinking. It looks like the Senator from Tennessee is going to keep running down the path that has placed the party in the minority.

The GOP does not stand a chance of re-gaining a majority as long as they allow people who think this way to lead them.

Congressional Republicans Deserve Their Minority Status

It’s bizarro world on the Hill, where liberal Democrat David Obey is threatening to cut spending, and allegedly conservative Republican John Boehner is laughing at the “idle threat.”

Hey Republicans, whatever happened to being the party of less spending? Reform? Cutting pork? Just wondering.

Appropriations Chairman David Obey (D-Wis.) is known for blowing his stack every once in awhile, and this time around Republicans are simply dismissing his latest rampage.

Republican House leaders are essentially calling Obey’s bluff one day after the irascible Wisconsin lawmaker threatened to pull every earmark from the remaining appropriations bills in order to cut an additional $11 billion and meet President Bush’s budget demands.

“This idle threat of taking away earmarks is just that,” said Majority Leader [sic] John A. Boehner (R-Ohio). “An idle threat.”
